Can I change how low it hangs?
Yes. It comes with rods 6x12" + 1x6" + 1x3", so your installer can set the height, up to about 7' 6" overall.

Yes, it's sloped ceiling compatible.
 

Can it go in a bathroom?
It's rated for dry locations, so keep it out of bathrooms and outdoor spaces.
